Outfit Post: Layered Wrap Skirt and Off-the-Shoulder Top

If you follow me on Instagram, you would know that I was in Key West recently for a pre-birthday trip. As I was strolling through the Sponge Market in Mallory Square, I found myself in the clothing section. I saw lots of items that would be great or home decor but being the person that I am, I can’t say no to cloth.

There were some typical touristy dresses which I had no problem ignoring but then I saw these skirts.  These are those “Magic skirts” which can be wrapped 100 ways into various styles of dresses. They’re also reversible so it would be like having two skirts in one. Being the person I am, I bought two skirts. So now I technically have four new colourful skirts to have fun with. At US$15 each, I could not say no! I was like a kid in a candy store trying to choose my favourite prints.

When I get some of the styles perfected, I’ll do a post with the second skirt. I just need to figure out those YouTube tutorials because my head is “hard” when it comes to wrapping things. (If you’re not from the Caribbean, when your head is hard, it means you don’t take in info easily.) That’s why my head wrap styles are so limited even though I love a wrap. I promise I’m going to practise!

In the meantime, enjoy these pics!
