3 Ring Trends to Try

In the grand scheme of an outfit, they may seem like a small element but rings, like other accessories, can make a big statement. Whatever image you’re hoping to create with your clothing, rings can help you to complete your look.

Think about it. If you’re going after a boho vibe, then a beaded ring is perfect. If simple and classic is more your thing, then a gold or silver band with minimum embellishments gives you that understated look.

Here are some trends for you to try. If you’re interested in any of these pieces head over to my original article here in The COCO Magazine for retail information.

First up, MIDI RINGS. If you’ve been paying any attention to accessories you would notice that “above the knuckle” or midi rings (like in the above photo) are all the rage. Sure, it’s a weird place to wear a ring but that’s what makes it so much fun and playful. They’re usually quite thin and simple so you can wear two or three on one hand without getting overwhelmed.

Sometimes they are already packaged together like the cross, rhinestone pyramid and spike. However, you can also come up with your own combinations like maybe a star and your initial.

Another fun trend is STACKING RINGS. Again the emphasis is on thin and relatively simple designs.

If all those dainty pieces aren’t for you, don’t fear! Bold, chunky statement rings haven’t gone anywhere. They are excellent conversation pieces and they can take an outfit from drab to fab in seconds.

I’m a fan of chunky rings more than anything else. Which do you prefer?
