They say a picture paints a thousand words so I don’t have much to say in this post (for once). On my trip to Miami I booked a shoot with portrait photographer Alexandra Rincon and we roamed Wynwood Walls and the general Wynwood area for interesting pieces.
I booked through Airbnb Experiences which offers travellers a curated list of intimate activities with local hosts and guides. You can book the same photo experience here or see more Miami experiences here.
Without further chit-chat, here’s some of the striking street around Wynwood, Miami.

If you’ve spent any time on this blog or my Instagram you know I love black and white prints and outfits. They’re clean, classic, effortless and easy to style.
What is less obvious is that I love black and white photography. Without the distraction of colour, textures and patterns take on a whole new light.
I decided my birthday photos had to be simple, classy, slightly sexy and in black and white.
Kishmar Shepherd of NuVisual Media got my vision and I was more than pleased with the results.

Shoes transform your body language and attitude. They lift you physically and emotionally.”
You may remember the pants in these shots from my super quick trip to H&M. I fell in love with them the first time I saw them so I decided to use them for this photoshoot even before I actually wore them anywhere.
I stuck to a more edgy black and white this time but when I was playing around with the styling (playing dress up) I found a way to add some colour. If I ever wear what I came up with I’ll let you have a look.
But for now, it’s all about silver studded shoes, loads of black and white bangles and bracelets and the second earcuff I scored on my trip.
