Pomp Wknd 2014: Part 1

Pomp Wknd resized

What a show! I knew it was going to be good if last year’s first effort was anything to go by but I truly was not prepared for the level of designing talent I saw at this year’s Pomp Wknd fashion show.

When I first heard about the show I’ll admit my first thought was “where Toni gine find 24 young designers?” But she did and I stand humbled at what Barbados is able to produce. Designers I’d never heard of produced collections I wanna wear right now.

Given the huge number of pieces shown, I haven’t had time to write a proper review so this is just a peek at some of what rocked the runway at Divi Southwinds’ Pure Ocean Restaurant. Stay tuned for a detailed review and lots of photos on Facebook!
