Spring/Summer 2014: From The Runway To Your Wardrobe (Part 1)

Back in September when the designers showcased their Spring/Summer 2014 collections it felt like it would ages before more affordable versions were in stores.

But it’s that time and there are a number of trends which I’m excited about seeing on the racks. We’ll look at three of them in this post. (All runway photos from style.com)

White wide leg pants were all the rage on the runway. And while there’s something effortlessly fashionable about white, you can keep the silhouette but opt for a bright colour or print.

Contrast collars, especially white ones, were also a hit.  Don’t you love when trends are this wearable?

Embellished pieces make getting ready easy. There’s no need to look for a necklace or even earrings when your dress already has a lot going on.
