Floral Print With a Bow: Crop Over Read-In Outfit

While clothes may not make the woman, they certainly have a strong effect on her self-confidence — which, I believe, does make the woman. Mary Kay Ash

Sometimes your best plans just don’t work out.

I had all intentions of wearing this dress with a pair of heels I haven’t worn in ages. But thanks to an aching calf muscle, every step would’ve had me looking like a newborn animal now learning to walk. Not cute… at all! I had no choice but to wear more sensible shoes.

In any case, it didn’t matter because the dress had me feeling all pretty and girly. Bright floral prints and a bow tend to have that effect. Turquoise has been one of my favourite colours for accessories and super long earrings on bare shoulders tend to take the glam up a notch. I almost didn’t miss my heels.
