Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
—Leonardo da Vinci
You know those mornings when you simply can’t decide what to wear? Or you don’t have time to think too long about putting together an outfit? I’m sure you do because we all have those days.
Luckily there are a couple simple solutions.
1. Invest in easy to wear, well fitting dresses.
2. Have an outfit formula”. By this I mean have a go-to combination that you know works well when you’re in a time/creativity bind.
I swear by these two ideas when I’m getting ready for work and struggling. I love my dresses but if it’s not a day that calls for me to be too dressy, my “uniform” is usually a cardigan, pants/skirt and a belt. It’s easy but it looks pulled together.
Then I can play with accessories if I wish. Take a look here at how I paired the same cardigan with a bandage skirt and floral print belt a while ago. Yesterday, I kept things pretty simple.
My focus tends to be on work outfits but you can also devise a formula for whichever occasions give you the most stress when choosing what to wear.
Drop me a line in the comments and let me know if you already have go-to outfits and how they work out for you.
