Mixing Prints May Be Addictive: Grey Leopard and Stripes

I would hate for someone to look at my shoes and go “Oh my god, they look so comfortable”. – Christian Louboutin

I think I get why designers and celebs are  mixing prints so much these days. It’s just too much fun! And I think it may be slightly addictive. See my past experiments with stripes and snakeskin and stripes and floral. Hmm, it seems I have a thing for using stripes as my main print….

I did it again on Saturday night when I attended the final staging of Katori Hall’s play The Mountaintop, presented by the Gale Theatre of Barbados and London.

It was easy to decide that I would wear the multicoloured striped dress (bought from Strawberry on my NYC trip) and the grey pumps which are among my most comfortable heels. I felt like the black clutch I take pretty much everywhere would be too boring so I grabbed the grey leopard print one just to see how it would look.

It looked right so I went with it.

Any ideas about what I should try to mix next?
